History

Dan Hodes and Steve Sutter founded Hodes & Sutter in December 2001 with one line and the entrepreneurial dream. We experienced all the trials and tribulations of a new company those first few years, as we worked to establish ourselves as a viable player in the industry. Keeping overhead low, our “corporate” location was the converted family room in the basement. With hard work, good customers, and a small but well respected line card our company persevered. We are truly grateful to the manufacturers that appointed our agency their representative during our first year.

Today, we stock the Liberty Pumps, K-Flex, StreamLabs and Topp product lines in our warehouse to service the Kansas, Missouri and Southern Illinois territory.

Though we are still relatively young, our company’s business philosophy is simple. Be honest, bring value, and work hard for the companies we proudly represent.
